Our Origin

Rooted in collaboration, a group of young filmmakers from the Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement and the host community established a unique initiative in 2018 aimed at harnessing the power of storytelling to empower and drive social change. This partnership is a fusion of diverse experiences and perspectives, united by a shared vision of fostering understanding and community among refugees and locals alike. Recognizing the importance of quality in media and advocacy, the initiative emphasizes specialized training for its participants, equipping them with essential skills in cinematography, editing, and storytelling techniques.
